Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

We want everyone who evaluates Trestl, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology, to be able to use our website. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

2. Conformance status

trestlsolutions.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA, which means that some content does not yet fully meet the standard. The exceptions we know of are listed in section 4.

3. What we do

• Automated accessibility tests run against every page on each proposed change to the website: axe-core with the WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules, and scripted keyboard tests that tab through every page with the privacy banner showing, at desktop and phone screen sizes, and through sample pages at 400% zoom. They also check the page structure that screen readers use, how pages reflow on a narrow screen, and the contact form’s error messages.
• Pages use semantic headings and landmarks, a “skip to content” link, visible keyboard focus, and labeled form fields with clear error messages.
• Images that carry meaning have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
• Animations are reduced when your system asks for reduced motion.
• Downloadable PDFs are produced with document structure tags, a title, and a language setting.
• Colors are never the only way we convey status: status colors are paired with icons and text labels.

4. Known limitations

• Brand teal contrast. Our main action buttons, such as “Request a demo,” use white text on our brand teal, at a contrast ratio of about 2.5:1, below the 4.5:1 WCAG requires for normal text. We are reviewing a darker variant of the color for these buttons.
• Testing by people. So far our keyboard checks are scripted, and we have reviewed the page structure that the browser gives screen readers without running a screen reader. A person using a keyboard and a screen reader has not yet tested the website; that test is planned with NVDA and VoiceOver.
• Bot protection. When enabled on our contact form, the verification check is provided by Cloudflare, and we have not tested it with assistive technology ourselves. If it blocks you, email us and we will take your request directly.

5. Compatibility

The website is built with standard HTML, CSS, WAI-ARIA, and JavaScript and is intended to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari and the assistive technologies commonly used with them. We have not yet tested every combination of browser and assistive technology. It does not rely on any browser plug-in. Our contact form needs JavaScript; if you cannot use it, email douglask@trestlsolutions.com instead.

6. Feedback and alternative formats

7. How we assessed this website

This statement is based on a self-evaluation completed on September 30, 2026, which followed the W3C’s WCAG Evaluation Methodology (WCAG-EM) against WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It covered every page of the website, including the page-not-found page, the privacy banner, the contact form with its error and confirmation messages, and the legal pages. It combined the automated testing above with a scripted keyboard-only pass through every page; a review of the page structure, names and states that screen readers read, taken from the browser; and checks of zoom to 400%, text spacing, color contrast and the size of controls. It did not include testing with a screen reader or by a person using a keyboard. We fixed the failures it found, except the brand teal contrast described in section 4, and we review this statement whenever we make significant changes to the website. Questions about the accessibility of the sign-in-only Trestl platform are welcome as part of any evaluation.
